Hi, I’m Kendall Schenck.
Hi! I’m the owner and creator behind Hobby Hoarders LLC. I’ve always had a passion for creating things by hand, especially through quilting, sewing, and textile art. What started as a hobby quickly became something much bigger — a way to combine creativity, comfort, and craftsmanship into pieces that people can truly enjoy and connect with.
I love working with fabrics, colors, and textures to create handmade quilts, tote bags, home décor, and other sewn creations that are both beautiful and functional. Every piece is made with care, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the craft.
One of my favorite parts of this journey is connecting with other creative people and building a community that celebrates handmade work of all kinds. Through Hobby Hoarders LLC, I hope to create a welcoming space where artists, makers, and hobbyists can share their passions and inspire one another.
My Approach
My approach to quilting and sewing is centered around creativity, quality, and craftsmanship. I believe handmade items should feel personal, meaningful, and made to last. Every project is carefully designed and created with attention to detail, from fabric selection to the finishing touches.
I enjoy blending creativity with functionality, creating pieces that are not only beautiful but also practical for everyday life. Whether it’s a quilt, tote bag, home décor piece, or custom creation, I strive to make each item unique and thoughtfully handcrafted.
Ready to Buy
I choose to create projects that genuinely inspire and excite me, allowing each piece to reflect creativity, care, and personal passion. Rather than focusing solely on custom orders, I love designing and making ready-to-purchase items that feel meaningful, fun, and unique. This approach keeps my work authentic and allows customers to discover one-of-a-kind handmade pieces created with joy and intention.
Custom Orders
Custom orders are available on a limited basis and may be considered depending on the project, timeline, and level of interest. While I truly enjoy creating handmade pieces, I currently focus primarily on ready-to-purchase items that allow me creative freedom and flexibility.
As a novice to intermediate quilter and sewist, I continue learning and improving with every project I make. Because handmade work naturally includes small variations and imperfections, I cannot guarantee perfectly flawless results. However, every piece is created with genuine care, effort, and attention to detail, and I take pride in making items that are thoughtful, functional, and uniquely handmade.
